New arrivals!

Monday, March 31st, 2008

New Arrivals…Big congratulations to two of our former couples who have recently become parents for the fist time. David and Sarah (who got married in the summer of 2007,) had a little baby boy ‘Finn’. It was my pleasure to photograph them all again recently and to meet the newest addition to the family. Some of the images from our fantastic location-based portrait session are now in our ‘Newborn gallery’ here.

Neil and Claire (who got married in the Spring of 2006,) were also joined by a bouncing baby boy recently, ‘Jake.’ We are looking forward to meeting him soon and also photographing the three of them together. This is one of the great parts of our job, when we get to hear that former couples are about to become three! It’s great that they think of us when sharing the fantastic news and we enjoy seeing them again, some time after their big day and to meet new additions to the family. Although most couples come to us initially beacuse of their need for a wedding photographer, we work hard to ensure that our relationship continues into the future beyond their special day, and hope that at some point most will return for one of our popular ‘Location-based lifestyle portrait sessions’. If you’re one of our former couples reading this and have added to (or are about to add to,) your family, please email us to let us know the fantastic news.

New pre-wedding engagement portrait session:

Friday, March 21st, 2008

From today we are now able to offer our couples a pre-wedding engagement portrait session. This is something we have had requests for for a long time so felt that is was time we introduced the concept as a clear stage in the planning for our couple’s big day. Entirely optional, this portrait session can take place a few weeks/months before your big day, either at your wedding venue (if possible,) or at another outdoor location of your choice.

Included in our session fee is a luxury 24 x 20 inch ‘Framed Print Guestbook’, which is perfect for your wedding reception. Click here for more information and further details on this unique service in South Wales. If you are a couple who have already booked us and are interested in taking advantage of this wonderful new idea, please contact us soon to set up your own session. For those new couples we are currently meeting, you’ll have the option of adding this session to your wedding phototgraphy package at the time of booking us. Click here for more information.

New wedding date checker available:

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

We have launched a new ‘Availability Request’ tool today. Simply click this link and enter in the basic details about your wedding so far and we’ll receive your information in an email, which will allow us to confirm as soon as possible if we’re still available on your date. It couldn’t be simpler, and will hopefully allow us to deal with the increased number of enquiries we are currently receiving, much faster.

New studio storybook albums arrive!

Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

Our studio sample ‘Classic’ storybook album set arrived from our new album producer Graphistudio in Italy today, and it looks fantastic!!! We will now of course be able to show all the couples we meet this new studio sample set and are more than happy to show it to current clients who have already booked us to photograph their big day and ordered a storybook album as part of their package.

We are particularly pleased with the new style parent albums that come with a hardback cover and separate printed dust jacket. We are also sure the new ‘mini’ albums will be incredibly popular with our couples. These little 4 x 4 inch copies of the main album come with soft covers in packs of 6 for just £195.00 and are sure to be popular as keepsake gifts for your bridal party, family and friends etc.

We have added a new page to our website containing more information and a small sample flash slide show of a recent civil partnership ceremony we photographed, for those of you who are planning your own Gay/Lesbian civil ceremony. Click here for more information and to visit the page with the slide show.

After what seems like months of rain, we’re hoping that August holds some dryer weather and who knows, perhaps summer might even put in an appearance this month???
